You can manually add a connection if you know an IP address or hostname of the target computer. After a successful connection, the server will appear in the All Computers group in the Stored section in the Remotix sidebar.Double-click one of the found computers.Choose a Nearby (Bonjour + LAN) scanner in the Remotix sidebar.It combines the capabilities of Bonjour technology used by some computers to announce themselves with a NetBIOS scanner for the local area network. The Nearby scanner displays a list of computers on the local subnet available to connect via VNC, RDP or NEAR. This computer is now stored in the All Computers list under the Stored section.įind a computer in the local area network.If you leave the Port field blank, Remotix will use the default value (3389 for RDP, 5900 for VNC and 5850 for NEAR). Specify the Computer ID of the remote computer and Port.Make sure that you have Use Remotix Cloud set to Yes.In an opened window, specify the new connection name.Choose connection type (VNC, RDP or NEAR).Choose File > New Connection (on a Mac you can instead click Create New Connection button in the toolbar).You can manually add a remote computer with Remotix Agent installed to the Stored list. Note: these connections won’t be saved in Stored.
